Methodology
A count of the filings Today Brazil captured from the CVM between Sep 1, 2026 and Sep 30, 2026, by filing date. Sources: ENET (the CVM filing system) and the CVM open data portal.
Five categories are included: Material Fact, Market Announcement, Notice to Shareholders, Judicial or Extrajudicial Reorganization, and Tender Offer. Minutes, forms and financial statements are excluded.
A single PDF filed by two companies of the same group counts once. Sector follows B3’s classification of the company; issuers outside our catalog of listed companies appear as not in the catalog. Business days are weekdays with at least one filing.
Capture depends on the availability of the CVM sources; a filing that did not reach the archive is not counted. The numbers may be quoted as "Today Brazil, based on CVM data".
Coverage measured on Oct 13, 2026 against the official ENET list (listed companies, five categories): we captured 629 of 634 filings (99.2%). This report counts documents: an identical PDF filed by two companies counts once, and foreign issuers registered with the CVM are included, which that list leaves out.
